A Newcastle Under Lyme councillor has dramatically quit Reform, citing bullying and sexism within the party. Charlotte Kelly's departure marks another significant blow to the fledgling political movement as it attempts to establish itself across the region.

Kelly has now rejoined the Conservative Party following what she describes as a "period of reflection" on her time with Reform.
